Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

What a great second week of school we had!! These little kindergarteners are already learning so much! This week they learned the sound for the letters m and a and also practiced writing them. Continuing to write these at home and find objects that start with those sounds would be great practice. We practiced writing numbers 0-9 with our number rhyme. At home, see if they can write the numbers and sing the rhyme for you. We talked about the title, author, and illustrator of stories. They have started to practice sounding out words to go along with their pictures. They learned some new words, such as unique. They learned all about how they are unique and how we are different from one another and also how we are the same. Next week we will talk about feelings.
