Goldilocks and the Three Bears

This week the class has really showed me that they are getting in to the swing of things and have the routines down. They know what to do, when to do it, and work hard. It is awesome!! This week we talked about families. Each student got the chance to tell about their own family. We talked about how families can be different and what people can make up a family. They worked on graphing, number writing, recognizing numbers, counting, and learned about the tricky teens this week. We have been focusing on retelling stories, so this week they re-enacted Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Watch the video below. It was a lot of fun and they did great! Also below are a couple of pictures of their families they created and a couple of students using their bodies to make the letters we learned this week. The newsletter for next week is attached on the right side of the page. Next week we will talk about our bodies, how they work, and what is inside of our bodies.
